Mum's Turkey Meatballs

Essential Ingredient:
Turkey Mince
For the meatballs:

400g turkey mince

3 shallots

5 pepperdew

75g Breadcrumbs

1 egg yolk

For the Sauce:

1 tin of tomatoes

5 pepperdew roughly chopped

1 large onion diced

1 clove of garlic finely chopped

Olive Oil


1 Chilli deseeded and finely chopped

To serve:
Sprinkle with fresh herbs

Meatballs are always a popular family favourite.
Try this mums recipe.
  1. Finely chop the shallots and the pepperdew and mx together with the remining ingredients in a bowl
  2. With floured hands form approx 12 meatballs
  3. Chill in fridge
  4. Heat olive oil in pan until hot
  5. Add Onions and fry for a couple of minutes (don’t let them go brown)
  6. Add Garlic and Pepperdew and oregano and fry for a couple more minutes to bring oil back up to temperature
  7. Add tomatoes and fry/boil hard for 5 minutes
  8. Brown the meatballs in a frying pan at the same time
  9. Add meatballs into the sauce and simmer for 15 mins while you cook the pasta
