Turkey a la King
Essential Ingredient:
Leftover turkey
500g cooked turkey

2 tbsp oil

1 onion, chopped

200g button mushrooms, sliced

100g red pepper, chopped

1 small tin sweetcorn (250ml drained)

600ml chicken stock

142ml cream


To serve:
Fresh green salad.
This meal takes only half an hour to make, but it’s fit for a king.
  1. Fry the onion in oil until softened. Add the sliced mushrooms and pepper and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  2. Add the sweetcorn and stock and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add cooked turkey and seasoning. Allow to heat through until the turkey is piping hot. Stir in the cream and serve.
  4. Please ensure turkey is piping hot before serving.
